“ Did not disappoint!!!! We came in from out of town and decided to go here and support local. The food was great!!! We overate due to not wanting to leave behind excellence. The queso, if we could buy a gallon we would. We were there on a Sat night and there was a great lil band playing classic rock (sorry didn't get their name). We will be back next time we are in San Marcos! ”
“ Fantastic Mexican food in San Marcos. Great lunch specials. We had the sour cream enchiladas on Thursday. Most lunch specials have some type of enchilada. A must try if you are looking for a reasonably priced meal without the hassles of downtown dining. Talia was our waitress and she was very attentive and nice. Definitely will return. ”

“ This was my first time at Jorge’s Mexican Restaurant, and it definitely won’t be my last! I ordered the Mix Plate #2, which came with two enchiladas, a crispy taco, rice, and beans—everything was delicious. The rice was a little on the greasy side, but still had great flavor and paired well with the rest of the plate. The chips and salsa were excellent—crispy chips and a salsa with just the right amount of heat to wake up your taste buds without overwhelming them. The atmosphere is a solid 10/10—cozy, welcoming, and full of character. The staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive. Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu! ”
